A Commentary On The Psalms From Primitive and Mediæval Writers Volumes 1 To 4 by Rev. J.M. Neale D.D.

ARG. THOMAS. That CHRIST our King breaketh the teeth of demoniac damnation. The voice of the Church to CHRIST. The voice of CHRIST to His FATHER in His Passion. And the voice of Paul, after the LORD’S Resurrection; and of the Church against heretics; and a prayer against sin.

VEN. BEDE. The LORD CHRIST in the first part of the Psalm prayeth earnestly in His Passion as man: in the second, He commemorates the glory of His Resurrection as GOD: in the third He sets forth on that account the praises of His FATHER.

EUSEBIUS OF CÆSAREA. A thanksgiving of David, and a prophecy of the calling of the nations.
