THE MASSYLITAN MARTYRS IN AFRICAMENTIONED by Bede,1 and famous in ancient calendars. We have a sermon preached by St. Austin on their festivals.2 They suffered in Africa, and probably derived their name from Massyla, or the adjacent country, on the sea-coast.
