There exists in the Vatican Library a Syriac Evangelistary called Evangeliarium Hierosolymitanum. This was first described by Assemani and Adler in 1789. P. Lagarde published it in 1892. It is of secondary importance.

The Syriac printed editions are in a deplorable state, being all derived from the uncritical Paris Polyglot of Michael le Jay (1645). Waltons Polyglot reproduced this text without any important emendations. The best edition up to date is that of the Dominicans of Mosul. (3 vols. 1887–92).
