VARIOUS PRAYERS AND INSTRUCTIONS
THE ROSARY OF SAINT JOSEPH

THE ROSARY OF SAINT JOSEPH

This Rosary, composed of nine mysteries in all, is divided into 3 parts, each part consisting of 3 decades, in honour of the 30 years that St. Joseph passed in the society of Jesus and Mary.

MYSTERIES OF THE FIRST PART
The Incarnation
The Perplexity of St. Joseph (as to whether he should abandon his Virgin Spouse.)
The Birth of OUR LORD Jesus Christ in Bethlehem

MYSTERIES OF THE SECOND PART
The Presentation of the Infant Jesus in the Temple.
The Flight of the Holy Family into Egypt.
The Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple.

MYSTERIES OF THE THIRD PART
The Hidden Life of Jesus at Nazareth.
The death of St. Joseph.
The Coronation of St. Joseph in Heaven.

(Finish each decade with a Glory Be.)

(Like the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin, one part of the St. Joseph Rosary may be said each day).

PRACTICE. (To Conclude Rosary).
Make three acts of Contrition, and beg St. Joseph to obtain for you Pardon and Mercy.
(Above information taken from "Devout Client of St. Joseph" published in Dublin 1870.)
